Loblolly Bay is a quaint and rustic boating and golf community located in northern Hobe Sound just off Gomez Road. Gated and secure, it contains both custom estate homes and smaller, efficient condos. The single-family homes vary widely from frame to concrete construction and range in size from 2,600 up to 4,600 square feet of air-conditioned living space. Construction in Loblolly Bay began in the early 1980s and still continues today, as there are a few available lots left for dream homes to be built. The community offers members of the Loblolly Pines Golf Club access to its tennis courts, heated pool, clubhouses, and Marina with convenient and private boat slips. Memberships are available by invitation only but are not required.
