Palm Beach Gardens: Home for the Adventurous, Marvelous & Good-Life Enthusiasts Part I

Sunny days. Picturesque views. Enchanting streets. Quintessential properties. Calming beaches. Pristine landscapes. World-class shopping. Delicious dining. Endless activities. Glimmering city lights. Entertaining nightlife. Friendly neighbors. Welcome to the premier community of Palm Beach Gardens (PBG).

Take your coat off, grab yourself a cocktail, you’ll want to stay awhile…

The idea of Palm Beach Gardens came about in 1959 by multimillionaire business tycoon, John D. MacArthur. There’s actually a park in the Palm Beaches named after him called John D. MacArthur Beach State Park– highly recommended. His plan was to create a city that represented the American dream and sure enough, he succeeded. Palm Beach Gardens is not just beautiful tropics. PBG is a lifestyle. Residents happily live, work and play here. The attractive atmosphere and unbeatable weather is just the hot fudge and cherry on top.

Whether you’re a retiree, fresh out of college, or have a family, there’s a place for you here. Searching for a home in Palm Beach Gardens is more than just finding you a place to sleep. It’s your little private retreat that’ll become more valuable with time. How do we know? Well, we’ve been in the real estate business for over 30 years and there’s not a whole lot of cities out there that have it all.

For one, PBG has all the necessities one may need in life. Things like schools, places of worship, hospitals, apparel retailers, food, and travel options. However, Palm Beach Gardens takes it to a whole other level adding bells and whistles to anything built upon its land. Because it’s not just about developing a place of need, it’s about crafting a city encompassing a luxurious lifestyle available for anyone.

There are a variety of great schools in Palm Beach Gardens, whether it’s non-denominational, religious, or standard. Public schools, such as Marsh Point Elementary School, Watson B. Duncan Middle School, and William T. Dwyer High School, and private schools, such as The Weiss School (PK-8), St. Mark’s Episcopal School (PK-8), and The Benjamin School (PK3-12) are also available. There’s also a few colleges and universities in the area as well.

Likewise, diversity of not only people but religion too is accepted here. There is Christ Fellowship on Northlake Blvd., Temple Beth David on Hood Rd., St. Ignatius Cathedral on Military Trail and many, many more.

Palm Beach Gardens is a rather small city - population of 50,699 – but it has the benefits that a lot of bigger cities have. Benefits such as more professional services, hospitals, and an international airport conveniently 15 minutes away. Not to mention an array of fine and casual dining options, and world-class shopping. Just take a drive down PGA Boulevard and you’ll know what we mean. From Downtown at the Gardens to The Gardens Mall, to PGA Commons, to Mainstreet at Midtown (condos available!) …you couldn’t conquer PGA Boulevard in just one day. Make sure to also check out Palm Beach Gardens GreenMarket, where you’ll find fresh herbs, vegetables, handmade goodies, and much more! It’s held on Sundays at the City Hall Municipal Complex.

There’s a vast supply of gyms/fitness studios too that offer different exercise activities that will surely get you into the best shape of your life. This includes L.A. Fitness, Orange Theory, and CrossFit just to name a few.

Additionally, it’s in a prime location for an active employment rate. As of December 2016, PBG saw about a two percent job growth and over the next decade, it’s predicted to increase by 40 percent. Furthermore, a variety of jobs are available in government, finance, technology, healthcare, science research, hospitality, arts, construction, and so much more!

Besides all that good stuff, it can also accommodate the lifestyle you dream of, which you’ll find in our next blog post later this week. For now, we’ll let you digest this information and start your home search in the signature city of Palm Beach Gardens. Have questions?
