Sloth experience
Have you ever wondered what a sloth’s fur feels like? The zoo invites you to meet Wilbur, a two-toned sloth. And you may even get to feed her grapes!
Aldabra Tortoise experience
Get up close and personal with three gentle giants in this behind-the-scenes encounter. Meet these magical creatures and learn about conservation.
Capybara experience
The capybara is a mammal native to South America. It is the largest living rodent in the world. Learn more about this interesting animal that stands 2 feet tall at the shoulder and built somewhat like a barrel with legs, the “capy” has long, light brown, shaggy hair, a face that looks like a beaver’s, no tail, and slightly webbed feet.
Giant Anteater experience
Find out how anteaters are fed ants. And, you may get a chance to feed them yourself and see their 2-feet long tongues!
Koala experience
What is more cuddly than a koala bear? The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is the only place in the U.S. where you can get this close to a Queensland Koala!
Flamingo experience
Become part of the flock as you learn fun facts about flamingos. Weather permitting, guests of the zoo will have an opportunity to assist in taking the flamingos for a walk.
Other zoo amenities include daily shows, Tropics Café and Concessions, Play Fountain, Wildlife Carousel and Safari Train, and Amazon Marketplace and Wild Things Shop.
The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is open daily from 9am-5pm, 363 days a year. (Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.)
