Get into the holiday spirit with these family-friendly festivities in Palm Beach County

There’s nothing better than basking in the warm winter sun along the beach while participating in festive, magical holiday celebrations unique to the Palm Beaches. From colossal sand trees to boats parading in lights, here are two special holiday traditions with a tropical flair to share with your family.

2018 Palm Beach Holiday Boat ParadeImage result for boat parade jupiter

The holiday season will be kicked off in South Florida fashion on Saturday, December 1st with the annual boat parade. Watch boats decked out with dancing lights and holiday décor spread holiday cheer along the waterway. A traveling fireworks display will also navigate the Intracoastal alongside the boats, traveling from North Palm at 6 p.m., and landing at the Jupiter Lighthouse around 8 p.m. There are plenty of public parks and places to see the show, including the North Palm Beach Country Club, Juno Park, Bert Winters Park, and Harbourside Place, among others. This event hosts the 19th annual toy drive that benefits Toys for Tots and Little Smiles, so revelers are asked to bring a toy for donation.

Holiday in Paradise: Sandi Land

This 700-ton, 35-foot holiday tree is sculpted entirely from sand, and is the largest sand tree in the world. The tree lighting on November 29th at 6 p.m. will unfold before guests as 5,000 bright lights dazzle in the night sky. However, if you can’t make the grand tree lighting, the fun will continue through New Year’s Eve on December 31st with nightly melodies and light shows on the Great Lawn. The display also includes a SnowieVille, where children can build their own tropical snowman, and a 9-hole mini golf course. Enjoy the fun and free opportunity for your family to come together and celebrate the magic of this holiday season on the beach!

These festivities truly prove it’s the most wonderful time of the year to spend time with your family and get into the holiday spirit! For more information on the Palm Beach County lifestyle and real estate, contact Tauber Real Estate Services today.
