Art Palm Beach becomes a spectacle each day, a panorama of immersive events for five days. Truly the next level art fair!

When the calendar flips to a new year, our area from Palm Beach to Jupiter Island comes alive with art, and more art. The finest in contemporary art comes to the Palm Beach County Convention Center January 16-20, 2019.

Art Palm Beach is not to be missed! Internationally renowned as the premier mid-winter contemporary art fair on Florida’s Gold Coast, ArtPalmBeach is a five-day fair. Bringing more than 85 international galleries to the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the 21st annual event showcases paintings, photography, sculpture and ceramics of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Great location

The Palm Beach County Convention Center is centrally in downtown West Palm |Beach. With 2500 available parking spaces, the Palm Beach County Convention Center offers a 9-story parking garage. It can be accessed off Okeechobee Boulevard (south side) and right turn onto Rosemary Avenue. The garage entrance is at the end of Rosemary Avenue. Several additional parking garages are available across the street at CityPlace for overflow parking needs. Restaurants and shopportunities are within a short walk at CityPlace across the street.

Guest Curator

Erich Weiss will be this year’s guest curator of the fair’s new pavilions for art video, design and art performances. Weiss is currently the curator at large at Barcelona’s Picasso Museum, Rotterdam Institute: Museum for Architecture, Design & Digital Culture, as well as an art critic and curator specializing in Dada and Surrealism.

Added Features

Video, performance art, art installations, and new technologies have become unique features of the fair offering collectors exposure to today’s emerging art trends.

New Pavilion

FLOW is a new pavilion dedicated to both important historically important video art and cutting-edge animation art.

Imagining Florida: History and Myth in the Sunshine State is a major exhibition that illustrates the history of our state through paintings, watercolors, prints, photographs, and material culture made in and inspired by Florida and its people, places, flora, and fauna. Two years in the making and organized by the Boca Raton Museum of Art, this groundbreaking exhibition gathers together over 200 works from nearly every important museum in our State as well as from across our nation. On view at the Boca Raton Museum of Art through Mar. 24, 2019.

The re-emergence of video art in the contemporary art world, featuring art videos from the White Space Collection.

2:30pm: “Tow With the Flow” Art Performance
