Get Your Art On! Artigras 2019

Right here in our backyard, we are fortunate enough to enjoy some of the most spectacular events and shows from Palm Beach to Jupiter Island. And ‘tis the season for ART! Mark your calendar for February 16-18 as ArtiGras ’19 comes to Jupiter, once again. ArtiGras is a favorite among locals and visitors as it brings artists from all over the country to Abacoa, a master planned community in Jupiter.
Celebrating 34 years, this fine arts festival is a great place to find that perfect piece of art for your home.

Festival Highlights
Experience the art of 300 national and local fine artists at one of the Top 70 ranked premier art shows in the nation. Shop, eat, drink and enjoy live entertainment, artist demonstrations, emerging artists and more. Kids & families will have lots of FUN in the ArtiKids Zone with art activities, interactive challenges, bounce games, face painting and photo ops.

Artistic Events and Attractions
Hanley Foundation ArtiKids Zone: showcases ArtiGras’ theme “Family Time is Time Well Spent” in the ArtiKids area! Children can express their creativity and families can engage by creating art together. Local cultural organizations and sponsors will offer themed art
projects and activities. Other highlights include live demos and interactive arts and crafts.

Artist Demonstration Stage: Various participating artists from around the country will demonstrate their art technique. Attendees are invited to watch and ask questions of our resident experts. Look for schedule of artists in the festival program.

Charitable Affiliations: ArtiGras benefits approximately 60 schools and nonprofit organizations. The 2018 beneficiaries include the Kiwanis Club of Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, and other local and private schools.

Fine Arts Area: Showcases the talents of 300 national, regional and local fine artists. The show is noted for strong art sales and is rated “one of the top 70 shows in the nation” by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

All artists are required to be present during the show. This allows the guests to meet and get to know the artists. Artists compete for more than $17,000 in awards in the areas of ceramics, digital art, drawing/graphics/print making, emerging artists, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and wood.

Emerging Artists: This area of the festival will feature 10 fabulous local artists who are from the Palm Beach area who are exhibiting in an outdoor art festival for the first time. These artists have been through a vigorous training program with ArtiGras event staff and other artist experts over the past six months. Patrons will be able to enjoy and purchase art that has been created in their “own backyard.”

Hanley Foundation Youth Art Competition: Local public and private schools, grades K-12, are invited to create art works and compete for money for their school’s art department. Approximately two hundred finalists in this countywide competition will be on display at ArtiGras. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday afternoon and the finalists will be on display the entire weekend. The talent of these young people will amaze you!

Music at the Main Stage: Varied musical entertainment will be featured throughout the day including jazz, R&B, and world music. The stage is located near the Food Court location at University and Central Blvd.
