10th Annual Friends of Jupiter Beach Food & Wine Festival

Mark your calendar for the 10th Annual Friends of Jupiter Beach Food & Wine Festival on Saturday, May 18th! It will be held rain or shine from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Jupiter Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk, which spans the Intracoastal Waterway.  The festival unites local conservationists and beach lovers amidst the movers and shakers of Palm Beach County’s restaurant scene for one memorable afternoon!

Friends of Jupiter Beach is a non-profit, local group dedicated to keeping Jupiter Beach clean and dog-friendly. Its growth has exploded in recent years as more members of the community rally together to participate in monthly beach cleanups that care for Jupiter’s special marine environment. The organization is now inviting you to join their largest fundraiser of the year! All family members are encouraged to show their support - even the four-legged friends. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online. General admission is $45, which covers food and drinks from all the vendors. VIP tickets sell for $100; holders can enter 1 hour early and are treated to exclusive tasting experiences, reserved seating and parking access, and a gift bag. Be sure to buy your tickets as soon as possible, as this event is always a sellout!

A sampling of this year’s restaurants includes 3800 Ocean, Avocado Grill, Bonefish Grill, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Guanabanas, III Forks, Pistache, PRP Wine International, The Cooper Craft Kitchen & Bar, West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault, and much more! A varied selection of sips – including non-alcoholic options – will also be offered, ensuring that there’s something for everyone at the event.

FOJ Beach has a plethora of activities planned for the afternoon: Samantha Russell Band will be serenading the crowds with live music, and at 3 p.m., a wine tasting demonstration presented by Wines for Humanity will be held. Of course, a doggie costume contest presented by JUPdog will begin at 4. Raffle winners will be announced around 5 p.m.

Over 13 years, Friends of Jupiter Beach has given back to our community by collecting over 72,000 pounds of trash from our beaches. Show your support by attending this fun-filled event, where all proceeds will support the organization’s diligent work. It will be nothing short of an incredible afternoon!
