Palm Beach County - The Land of Beautiful Beaches

Yes, we live in paradise. Throngs of vacationers and visitors flock to our area every year, but we are lucky to live and work here. One of the main reasons is our beaches. We got a lot of them, and they are all beautiful and unique in their own way. Check out our favorites:

 

Anchor Park

340 S. Ocean Blvd, Delray Beach 

Popular beach with surfers, windsurfers, stand up paddle boarders. Beach rentals available.  Look for the kites on windy days.

Amenities:  Lifeguards, picnic area with grills, playground, restrooms, outdoor showers, vending machines

 

Sandoway Park 

200 S. Ocean Blvd, Delray Beach

Home to the historic Sandoway House Nature Center — $5 admission.

Delray Municipal Beach

Ocean Blvd. at E. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach

Listed as one of South Florida’s top public beaches, this active beach attracts all ages.  Restaurants, bars and quaint shops are all within walking distance. Home to iconic “Boston’s On The Beach”, this vibrant beach has it all.

Lake Worth Municipal Casino & Beach Complex

10 S. Ocean Blvd., Lake Worth

This beach ranks as one of Palm Beach County’s top beach spots.  There are lots of activities for all ages. Popular beach for weddings/special events.  This is also one of the county’s best surfing and boogie boarding beaches. If you’re looking for an active beach, this one’s for you.

Amenities:  Lifeguards, restrooms, showers, playground, picnic areas, grills, fishing pier, beach concession rentals, restaurants, beach shop and 3,000 sq. ft. ballroom for rent.


R.G. Kreusler Park

2882 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach (Just North of Lake Worth Pier)

A hidden gem, this quiet and relaxing park is located just north of the more active Lake Worth Pier.

Amenities: Lifeguards, restrooms, outdoor showers, saltwater fishing

 

Phipps Ocean Park 

2201 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach

The narrow shoreline with natural rock formations makes this beach a top spot with snorkelers.  Perfect beach to explore without the large crowds.

Midtown Public Beach

Worth Ave & N. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach

Beautiful, pristine public beach in the heart of ritzy Palm Beach. There are no public amenities, but it is the perfect beach for those who want a more relaxed, upscale and secluded beach day.

Amenities:  Lifeguards (no restrooms)


Peanut Island (accessible by boat only)

Palm Beach Inlet & Intracoastal Waterway

This is one of the country’s most unique public beach parks.  Access is by boat only, and it is one of Palm Beach County’s most popular island/beach destination.  Weekends become the party place for local boaters. The island is also home to the Palm Beach Maritime Museum and the Kennedy Bunker.

Amenities:  80-acre tropical park, restrooms, outdoor showers, picnic areas, overnight camping facilities, boat docks

Getting There:  By private boat or by water taxi service

 

Singer Island Municipal Beach 

2511 Ocean Drive, Riviera Beach

Beautiful public beach close to resorts, restaurants and shops. Perfect for those seeking an active day at the beach.

Amenities:  Lifeguards, restrooms, showers, volleyball, tennis courts, playground, picnic area, Ocean Mall/Boardwalk with restaurants, cabana service, beach rentals (including kayaks).

 

John D. MacArthur State Park

10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach

This is the only State Park in Palm Beach County that has a beach front.  No lifeguards on duty. The park attracts visitors from all over South Florida looking for eco-adventure and pristine beaches. Kayaking through the mangroves is a “must do” when visiting this amazing park.

Loggerhead Park

14200 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach

This beautiful beach park is also home to the Loggerhead Marine Life Center and the Celestial Railroad Historical Marker.  Popular beach and perfect for young families. This beach is also equipped with a beach wheelchair for those with physical disabilities.

Juno Beach Park

14775 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach

This is one of the area’s top spots for surfing, swimming, and wading.  Beautiful beach to kick back, relax and watch the surfers catch 10. The fishing pier is also popular with local anglers.

Ocean Cay Park

2188 Marcinski Road, Jupiter

Beautiful, unspoiled stretch of beach in northern Palm Beach County.  Popular with locals looking for a relaxing day at the beach.

Carlin Park 

400 S. State Road AIA, Jupiter

This popular beach also makes the list as one of Palm Beach County’s best public beaches.  Perfect beach park for those seeking outdoor activities. This park even has a bocce ball court.

Jupiter Beach Park

1375 Jupiter Beach Road, Jupiter

Another one of Jupiter, Florida’s spectacular beaches, the Jupiter Beach Park is located at the Jupiter Inlet.  This beach is popular with surfers and boogie boarders.

DuBois Park

19075 Dubois Road, Jupiter (Intracoastal Beach)

This lush tropical beach park is popular with families, boaters and snorkelers.  When you visit, be sure to see the Historical Indian mound site.

Coral Cove Park 

1600 Beach Road, Tequesta

This beach park stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway. Most of the time, it’s not crowded which makes for a perfect for a quiet relaxing day.
