As schools close, and the calendar turns to summer with longer days and balmy nights, Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens celebrate with two free concert series. This monthly event started in April, but continues through September. The amphitheatre in Abacoa, located in Jupiter comes to life with a selection of tribute bands that are sure to delight music fans of all ages. All concerts begin at 7:30 pm and are FREE and open to the public at Abacoa Amphitheater. There will be fun for the entire family and music for all tastes this summer – so SAVE the DATES!
July 20 – The Motowners: All your Motown favorites!
The Motowners bring a dynamic musical celebration of Motown’s Greatest Hits. Their repertoire is extensive, covering favorites from The Temptations, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Martha & The Vandellas, Mary Wells and many more. Fine vocals and precision moves bring back memories of all your favorite hits. The Motowners are nostalgic, classic, upbeat and will have you singing along and dancing.
Aug 17 – Sinatra Salute: Swing the night away with Sinatra and Friends!
Legends Radio presents a very special salute to Frank Sinatra and Friends. Celebrating 100 years of the greatest entertainer ever born, Jeff Grainger and his orchestra bring you a Sinatra Salute with all the greatest hits and a nostalgic evening with the Chairman of the Board. Backed up by a swinging big band that has been performing worldwide for more than 20 years and a large repertoire of classic standards, this band plays it all. Take a trip back in time and relive the days when Ole’ Blue Eyes swooned the hearts of the bobbysoxers.
Sept 21 – Crystal Visions of Fleetwood Mac
Embark on a mystical musical journey spanning almost 5 decades of music by one of the most enigmatic bands of all time, Fleetwood Mac and the sweetheart of rock, Stevie Nicks.
Crystal Visions of Fleetwood Mac delivers a blockbuster show taking the audience on a journey through the music and 'Mac' mystique, chronicling hits from the Peter Green era through their latest tours with songs like "Black Magic Woman", "Oh Well", and "World Turnin", to true pop hits such as "Don't Stop", "Go Your Own Way", "Everywhere", "You Make Lovin' Fun", "Hold Me", and "Tell Me Lies".
