While Floridians do not have cooler temperatures or changing leaves to signify that fall is just around the corner, one sure sign is the arrival of the green market season in Palm Beach County! What’s not to love about fresh, local produce, baked goods, coffee and tea, art, and much more? In West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens, two of the most anticipated markets in the area are opening the first weekend in October. Visit your favorite vendors and see what’s sprouting October 5th and 6th.
West Palm Beach GreenMarket
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket will kick off its 25th season on October 5th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Flagler! The Market is one of the largest in the county and is a spectacular Saturday spot to pick up fresh produce and local goods. From the array of vendors that attend, you are sure to find exotic plants, pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, spices, and unique art. The GreenMarket also always features live music from local bands, free kids’ activities, and a green space for socializing and relaxing. Dogs are welcome to tag along, too. We hope to see you there!
Gardens GreenMarket
The Palm Beach Gardens GreenMarket is returning to its outdoor location at the Palm Beach Gardens Municipal Complex on October 6th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Locals flock to the GreenMarket for artwork and jewelry, live entertainment, and fantastic food. Here, you can find fresh, locally-grown produce that promotes the expansion of the South Florida agricultural industry. The event is also a great social gathering place on Sunday mornings for family, friends, and neighbors.
