Hard to believe, but the holiday season is upon us and there are many festive tree lighting events happening in Palm Beach County. Holiday tree lighting ceremonies kickoff in November, but if you can’t make the official lighting events, don’t worry as South Florida cities and towns will be glowing with twinkling lights and holiday decorations throughout the season.
And, there’s even “snow” in the forecast among the palm trees at Rosemary Square (formerly called CityPlace). Experience nightly “Snowfall on the Square all December long starting at 6pm, and every hour. It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year in South Florida!
Light Up Downtown Boca Festival and Tree Lighting

A series of winter holiday festivities including parades, free carnival rides, an artificial ice rink, concerts and more kicks off with a free Holiday Festival culminating with the City of Boca Raton’s and Mizner Park’s annual tree lighting ceremony — followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Downtown at The Gardens’ Holiday Light Show and Tree Lighting

This free event features thousands of holiday lights synchronized to classic holiday tunes, activities, festive stilt walkers, and more.
100-Foot Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Delray Beach
Dec. 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m.,
School Square Park
A month-long celebration kicks off with Santa arriving at 6:45 p.m. then lighting the famous 100-foot Christmas tree at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy ice skating, pictures with Santa, mini-golf and more. Event is free and the activities are available for a nominal fee.
Sandiland: Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting
Dec. 5, 6 p.m., West Palm Beach Waterfront, 100 S. Flagler Drive
“Sandi,” the world’s only 600-ton sand tree will be ready to make her debut on December 5 at 7 p.m. The 35-foot star of the City’s annual Holiday in Paradise campaign will be lit through December 31. There will also be a cappella performances, non-stop family fun in SnowieVille, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make a special appearance!
Worth Avenue Christmas Tree Lighting
Tues, Dec. 3 from 5-8 p.m., 256 Worth Ave
Worth Avenue will host their annual parade at 6 p.m., followed by the lighting of their Christmas tree at 6:29 p.m. marking the beginning of the holiday shopping season.
Holiday Tree Lighting at Harbourside
Nov. 23 from 6-10 p.m. at Harbourside Place, Jupiter
Celebrate the holidays at Harbourside Place’s 5th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 23rd! Watch performances by local school and community groups. Enjoy holiday games, family-fun activities, Santa’s arrival and much more!
