The 25th Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade captures the essence of holiday cheer in one giant celebration! On December 7th, the Intracoastal Waterway will light up with a travelling fireworks display leading a procession of boats adorned with festive decorations. Grab some beach chairs, a blanket, and some hot chocolate and spend the evening by the water with friends and family!
What to Know Before You Go
Where else can you kick off the holiday season with a boat parade? It is one of the best things to do in the Palm Beaches during this festive time of year. Dozens of glowing sailboats and yachts cruise from the North Palm Beach Marina towards Jupiter showcasing their holiday spirit. There are plenty of places along the route to see the parade, including Juno Park, Bert Winters Park, Waterway Park, Sawfish Bay Park, Jupiter Riverwalk, Harbourside Place, and Lighthouse Park. Some of these locations offer family-friendly festivities and an extended fireworks viewing, too. You can even watch the show from waterside restaurants and bars, such as U-Tiki, Waterway Cafe, Jetty's, or Square Grouper Tiki Bar. The parade begins at 6 p.m. and arrives at the picturesque Jupiter Lighthouse around 8 p.m., where the grand finale will take place.
To honor the season of giving, the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is also a water-based toy drive. The parade proudly partners with the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots organization to collect thousands of gifts for local children in need. Guests are encouraged to donate a toy at one of the convenient stops along the docks.
Deck the Hull
Parade boat registration is open to the public, so you have an opportunity to show off a dazzling light display to all spectators. Participants can win cash prizes based on the creativity, enthusiasm, and theme of the design.
