Nacho Average Tacos

Let’s taco ‘bout tacos! We all know about Taco Tuesday, but what about the other six days a week? Whether you like them hard or soft, filled with meat or veggies, hot or mild, everyone loves tacos!  The Jupiter (and beyond) area is now home to two fairly new taco joints.  Grab your margarita and check them out below.

With two locations, one in Jupiter and one in Royal Palm Beach, PapiChulo is not your average taco shop. Self described as a beach style spot with epic margaritas, this is a must-try dining destination.  This hip, casual taco shop features Mexican street style food, fresh juices , great tequila, and cocktails with a laid back beach bar vibe. PapiChulo food is chef driven modern street tacos with influences from Mexico, Cuba, Peru, Argentina and beyond.

The food is best enjoyed ordered family style, sharing dishes from different parts of the menu. The food is always freshly prepared with the finest ingredients. Nothing frozen or pre-cooked here. PapiChulo offers street food, nachos, a burger and ribs. But you must order a taco (or 2 or 3!). Some of our favorite taco selections:

Carne Asada Taco

Skirt steak, chimichurri, queso fresco, cilantro, sweet peppers, red cabbage, radish, scallions

Champio Taco

Vegan, poropelli, slaw, green pepper, onion, red pepper sauce, cilantro

Coconut Shrimp Taco

Sriracha aioli, mango, cabbage, red onion, carrots, lime wedge

Located just steps Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Duke’s is in the heart of Downtown Abacoa. The menu features creative plays on Floribbean Street Tacos and what they call “fish on acid” – a modern take on locally sourced ceviches. In addition to sourcing ingredients locally, the staff at Duke’s uses a Nixtamal process and grinds the corn in house to create the freshest masa in town. On the bar side, the cocktail menu features twists and spins to the classic margarita as well as 100 different spirits. The restaurant offers spacious seating options including the outdoor patio – the perfect spot to enjoy the local scene while sipping one of Duke’s signature cocktails or frozen specialties. Check out these “tacos by the Duke”:

Prime Beef Taco

Carmelized onion, mushrooms, crema

Texas BBQ’ED Brisket

Cole slaw, pickles

Cheeseburger Taco (Yes! A cheeseburger taco!)

Ground beef, cheddar cheese, LTO, garlic aioli

Crispy Fish Taco

Beer battered grouper, pico de gallo, radish, lettuce, lime crema

Tacos aren’t just for Tuesday!  Enjoy these beauties any day of the week.  For more information on the finest homes in the Palm Beaches, contact a Tauber Real Estate Services specialist at 561-626-4633.
