Sunday, July 4, is America’s birthday and aren’t we all looking forward to celebrating? Here’s all the details on where and how you can see fireworks light up the night, along with plenty of other ways to celebrate the 4th of July in The Palm Beaches.
Fireworks Light Up the Sky
West Palm Beach
The 4th on Flagler fireworks extravaganza returns to downtown West Palm Beach on Sunday, July 4, from 7 to 10 p.m. along Flagler Drive, between Banyan Boulevard and Fern Street. Expect roving entertainment, live music, a DJ stage, food, drinks and more.
Boynton Beach
Celebrate America’s independence in Boynton Beach with live music, food trucks and one of the largest fireworks displays in The Palm Beaches. This free, family-friendly event will take place at Intracoastal Park from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The celebration will include a spectacular water show by Palm Beach Hydroflight. Athletes will surf the skies on water propelled Jet boards, defying gravity with mind-blowing maneuvers up to 50 feet in the air.
Delray Beach
Delray Beach is starting the celebration early on Saturday, July 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Enjoy live entertainment and shop the fashion boutiques, art galleries and specialty shops of Downtown Delray Beach during the Sparktacular Summer Sidewalk Sale. Nearby at Pompey Park, also on July 3, the city will host its Uncle Sam Jam from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This family event will offer live entertainment, children's activities, food and merchandise vendors, pool games, strolling jugglers and magicians, and more. On Sunday, July 4, there will be a sand-sculpting contest from 9 to 11 a.m. at the beach pavilion at Atlantic Avenue and A1A with both adult and children’s categories. The city’s Independence Day celebrations will culminate with two fireworks displays at 9 p.m. The locations of the displays won’t be revealed in order to encourage physical distancing, but the magnificent shows will be visible from across the city.
Jupiter
On July 3 and July 4, Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter will host the annual Mega Bash Celebration featuring exciting baseball and family fun. Complete with postgame fireworks, the Mega kids’ area, and exclusive stars and stripes merchandise, this is a party you won’t want to miss.
Lantana
In Lantana, get ready for double the fun. The town’s Centennial Anniversary Celebration & July 4th Fireworks Display will include a live concert at 5 p.m. and spectacular fireworks at 9 p.m. There will also be food and craft vendors, giveaways, a “Most Patriotic Baby” contest, and family-friendly games and rides.
Royal Palm Beach
The village of Royal Palm Beach’s Star Spangled Spectacular will feature live music, games, food and fireworks at Royal Palm Beach Commons Park from 1 to 10 p.m. In addition to three live bands starting at 4 p.m., there will be mobile gaming, laser tag, a zip line, a rock wall, a bungee trampoline, kayaking and paddleboarding, volleyball and corn hole tournaments, craft vendors, a chalk zone and more.
