See You at SunFest

SunFest is back! Mark your calendar for April 28- May 1.

Florida’s largest music, art and waterfront festival offers an exciting lineup for the highly anticipated 2022 event. The festival has provided a springtime soundtrack along its outdoor, palm tree-lined setting for nearly 40 years. But there are more opportunities sunseekers to reunite with friends! Read on for details.

Music

There are three stages with top notch performers and a wide genre of music offered over the course of four days. Headliners include Sam Hunt, Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows, Lil Wayne, Adam Lambert, Nelly and Boyz II Men. And there’s more from country artists to to R&B and more!

This year, SunFest is showcasing Fresh Local Artists (FLA) at the music festival. In partnership with 1909, a nonprofit in West Palm Beach dedicated to the holistic growth of creators through member access to one-of-a-kind, collaborative community, workspace, accelerator programs and mentorships, the two organizations will offer local bands the opportunity to audition for SunFest 2022. Nearly 20 local artists will have the chance to perform at SunFest and a few lucky artists could open for headline entertainers.

Food and Fun

Of course, there will be many opportunities to enjoy refreshments from dozens of food vendors and bars throughout the festival. Perhaps the most popular are the floating bars, SunFest’s most famous dancing spots. Captain Morgan and Ketel One support this area with a cool atmosphere and specialty libations. Enjoy live artist demonstrations, help create installations like the famous giant chalkboard, or even become part of the art with henna tattoos and body marbling. Visit more than70 artists, crafters and vendors will create a wondrous marketplace of art and apparel.

Fireworks

The SunFest fireworks show closes out the festival on Sunday, May 1st at 9pm.
