Sims House

A very special place to dine in Jupiter

While it might look like just another Old Florida home from the outside, the house at 322 Center Street in Jupiter is anything but ordinary.

Built in 1924, today it stands as an important piece of South Florida history, a historical property once home to Eli and Essie Sims — daughter to Jupiter's first female postmaster Ethel Sims and South Florida pioneer Charlie Pierce.

And now, it’s a restaurant where you can gather with friends, family or that special someone to soak up the history, the wonderful atmosphere and eat some good food.

Preserving history

Inside the former home, first-floor rooms have been transformed into intimate dining areas with space for over 200 (and 69 seated). Outside, a 10,000-square-foot outdoor patio presents additional seating options, as well as an outdoor bar where guests can mix and mingle.

The Sims House kitchen is led by executive chef Francisco Landin, formerly of Tabica Grill. The menu consists of a variety of items including salads, seafood, steaks and more. Here are a few of our favorites:

Appetizers

Start your experience with a selection of appetizers including stuffed dates, calamari, and spicy edamame.

Mains

Fish Tacos

Mahi-Mahi with garden grown cilantro and special pico de gallo.

Center Street Filet

8 oz filet with mashed potatoes, spinach, sautéed onions and demi glaze.

Southeast Salmon

Pan-seared, topped with lemon, garlic sauce. Served with asparagus, artichoke hearts and parmesan risotto.

Local Burger

Proprietary brisket blend burger topped with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onions.

Pinegrove Mahi

Pan-seared with mango salsa served over basmati rice.

End with Dessert

Leave room for dessert! The key lime cheesecake is a fan favorite, as is the strawberry shortcake and dark chocolate torte.

Impressive Wine List

The wine list is impressive and promises to offer the most exciting wine experience to novice drinkers, as well as the most dedicated wine connoisseurs. The selection is vast with reds and whites from California, France, and Italy.
